SARAH EILEEN CHASTAIN – ROBERT HILTON DUPREE

A1. SARAH EILEEN CHASTAIN, b.2 January 1917 in Boston, Georgia. baptized 23 April 1944 at First Baptist Church in Thomasville. Attended schools in Thomasville: Fletcherville and East Side, graduating from Thomasville High School 6 June 1935. Eileen then took a cosmetology course and worked as a hairdresser.
In 1959 she began work as a school cafeteria manager, where she is still employed in Jacksonville, Florida. For the last six years, she has belonged to Jacksonville Four Square Church.
Eileen enjoys reading, being a wife and mother. Her life principle is the golden rule. She believes that motherhood is the greatest of all occupations and sometimes the least rewarding.
m. Robert Hilton Dupree on 25 January 1939. Bob is the son of Ida Egora Johnson and James Council Dupree, born 4 September 1915 and baptized in Campbell, Florida in 1925 in a Baptist Church.
He worked for Eileen’s parents for nine years, then for a while ran a sand business in Valdosta, Georgia.

B1. ROBERT HILTON DUPREE JR, b. 3 October 1932 in Thomasville, Georgia. He was baptized about 1951. Whenever his grandfather Chastain saw him for the first time, he commented that the little boy looked just like Mickey Mouse, thus he received the name he has been known by ever since, Mickey.
Mickey is a member of Four Square Church in Jacksonville, Florida. He values his marriage and his family, works hard, is quiet, and liked by all. He enjoys fishing and camping out.

Robert Hilton Dupree, Sr. died 13 April 1997 in Jacksonville, Florida. Bob died of congestive heart failure from diabetes and strokes.

Mickey's daughter, Hollie Diane is the mother of Greg Young, and Chance, Robbie's child, born 9 December 2001.

C1.Larry Allen Dupree died on April 26, 2009 from Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS) at his home in Florida.

Obituary for Hollie Diane Dupree (Mroczkowski)

 MROCZKOWSKI Hollie Diane Mroczkowski, 37, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2009. She was born February 15, 1972 in Jacksonville, FL to Robert H. Dupree and the late Virgina G. Dupree. She is preceded in death by her brother Larry Dupree; father in laws, Papa Woody Clark and Albert Edward Mroczkowski; brother in law, Robert Mroczkowski. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Roy Mroczkowski; sons, Edward William and Gregory Mroczowski; brother, Robbie (Brandy) Dupree; sister in law, Brenda Dupree; grandchildren, Mason Edward Mroczowski and Noah Medeiros. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 13, 2009 at 11AM at Duval Station Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Drury officiating. B2.     GWENDOLYN JAN DUPREE, B.21 July 2943 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia.  Gwen attended schools in Valdosta and Thomasville, Georgia.  Barnwell, S.C. and Dunedin and Jacksonville, Florida.  She graduated from Paxon High School in Jacksonville in June 1961, then attended the University of Miami on a baton twirling scholarship, graduating in January 1965 with a B.B.A. in Business Management.  In college Gwen was in Tau Beta Sigma, a national honorary society for bandswomen.  Baptized in 1951 in Thomasville.  After college she worked for National Airlines as a flight attendant from 1966-1977.

            m. Glenn Wayne McQuigg on 25 March 1972 at Murray Hill      Methodist Church in Jacksonville, Florida.  Wayne was born on 20 October 1944 in Durham, N.C. to Mavis Ann Thornton and Glen Irving McQuigg.  He was baptized in Schaller Methodist Church in Iowa around 1946.  He attended school in Japan and in Jacksonville, where he graduated from Lee High School in 1962.  Wayne was in the Air Force from August 1962 until May 1966.  he was a military policeman, served 13 months in Korea, and was honorably discharged.  He attended Florida Junior College and Florida State University where he graduated in June 1970 with a B.S. in Business Administration and an accounting major.  He worked as an accountant in Miami and is now the N.E. Division Controller for Waste Management in Jacksonville.  He enjoys fishing, golf, reading and history.

            C1.     TYLER WAYNE McQUIGG, b. 27 April 1977 at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.  Tyler became the 24^th great-grandchild of Mary Effie Chastain, who also had 24 grandchildren.  Furthermore, he is the only one of either generation to also be born on the same day as his great-grandmother.

B3       LINDA JO DUPREE, b. 21 September 1944.  Attended schools in Jacksonville, Florida, graduating from Paxon High School 4 June 1962.  She took a course in cosmetology and became a professional hairdresser.  Linda Jo married Raymond Eugene Dingman on 8 August 1965.  Raymond was born 22 June 1932 in New York State.  They divorced in 1973, then remarried 31 December 1976, then re-divorced in 1977.
